Question:
21 months post op and I am starting to feel the food passing through

I havent felt this since I was newly post-op. Now at 21 months post RNY, transected pouch, I am feeling my food move all through-out my stomach after I eat. It is also very loud again. I am concerned that this could be a sign of a fistula or some other problem. I havent gained back any weight, have been at goal for more than 6 months but I can comfortably eat 1 and 1/2 cups of food at a sitting and then if I am having a bad food day, eat again in about an hour. I want you to call your surgeon and get in there for an exam. A fistula is bad and if you suspect it you need to get checked. It could be a hernia too. Good luck.
