Question:
Any suggestions on a support group in the twin cities area?

I am having an RNY on March 15th, 2004, and I am interested in 1 or 2 support groups. I know there is one available at United Hospital once a month. Has anyone gone to this one, and would you recommend it? Are there any other ones available you would recommend?    — Julie S. (posted on February 18, 2004)

Fairview university has one the first friday of every month. It is usually at a mall(for the life of me I cannot think of the name) but for the next couple of times it is at fairview university clinic itself. email me if you want more info. 292/193/165 6/27/03

HCMC has a support group that meets the third wedensday of the month at 4pm to 5:30 downtown minneapolis. They meet at the diabetes clinic on eight avenue across the street from the emergency room. Feb meeting was yesterday although. March is coming up

I have been to quite a few different ones, and by far the best one is at St Johns in Maple Wood. It's always the 4th Tuesday of the month and meets at 6:30. They have a wide range of newbies to some at 2 years. The folks here seem so genuine and wether you need support to get back on track or a kudos for your great work, these are the people to help. Hope to meet you there!
