Has anyone been approved for WLS on an individual health plan?

My sister (Michelle Greenway, she has a profile here) got approval from Carefirst BlueChoice on an individual self employed policy with no problems. Good luck to you!

I have an individually purchased health plan from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida and I was approved. Every BCBS is different though. Check out the one in your state. Good Luck!
