Question:
Has anyone had experience dealing with Guardian Insurance?

It probably depends on the plan your company purchases and whether they have an exclusion. I believe if you prior carrier approves your surgery that Guardian will honor that preapproval. As a rule Guardian allow gastric bypass or RNY if medically necessary. Guardian is my second insurance. I had my surgery 4 wks ago and I have not heard anything from them yet. Good luck.
