I would not recommend having a Tummy Tuck and WLS on the same day. You are
creating stress on your body with WLS, and adding more with another surgery
is just too much. Also, you will lose weight for 12-18 months (even up to
24 months). You will have even more lose skin at that time. At 18-34
months is the best time to have "cosmetic" surgery. You should
be at your maximum weight loss.
I'm not sure if there is a surgeon that will even offer both surgeries
together.

Also I heard that a tummy tuck and Breast lift at the same time is rough
because you cannot use your stomach muscles or arms.

It sounds like it would be counterproductive to do so. The plastic
surgeons tell you to get a TT when you within 20 pounds of your goal and
over a year post-op (weight stabilized). If you get the tt with the WLS,
you will then lose 100 or more pounds and have a strong possibility that
the tt would have to be redone.

Gretchen, thought you might want to know, I had a extended TT, extended
Brachioplasty AND breastlift all done at the same time. I had no problems
using my arms to get myself up. Had the stomach muscles hurting though!

If you are going thru the Mayo Clinic there is NO WAY they will do both at
the same time. I thought for sure I would have to have a tt AFTER I reached
goal but with alot of exercising ( I am 54 ) my stomach is shrinking
nicely..
good luck
