Question:
Has anyone experienced puffiness under your eyes?

The last few weeks I have had very puffy skin under my eyes, is this a result of the weight loss and will it go away? I am 6 months post op rny. Thank you.    — Elizabeth .. (posted on January 6, 2004)

I had a facelife last July after lossing 102 pounds. I had a bad Turkey neck that I was very self-conscious of. My plastic surgeon told me that the puffiness under my eyes was because of fat buildup. And the only way that I could get rid of it was to have surgery, which they cut along a natural crease and take the fat out.I have heard of people using Preparation H under their eyes but I don't remember if it was to get rid of puffiness or dark lines. I have never tried it.Even after using it, it is only a temporary fix and the problem would come back.

I usually get that if I have been eating too many carbs, pre and post-op. I hate it! ~Jennifer
