Question:
Anyone out there have a Koch pouch urinary diversion have RNY surgery?

I have a urinary diversion where they've used part of my bowel to create a man-mad bladder. This will increase my chances of complications if I have RNY surgery. I will also have to have open because of the adhesions. Has anyone out there ever had surgeries such as a urinary diversion?    — RoxanneF (posted on January 5, 2004)
