Question:
I have only lost 78 pounds in six months. Is that ok? Is it normal?

Yes it is OK, Yes it is normal. Depending on your start weight that could
be more than halfway to goal. I looked at your profile, but could not see a
start weight. Please, please, please do not compare yourself with others -
that is a sure fire way to get discouraged! There will ALWAYS be at least
one person that will lose faster than you (Murphy's law and all that).
Remember this is not a race, you will not get anything an extra prize for
finishing first! Its the destination that matters - not who gets there
first!

Hello, I will be 6 months out on 01/01/04 and I have lost 69lbs. I started
out at 224 and am now down to 155 and a size 10. I only have 30 more pounds
to goal! I would love to lose more but if I don't I am happy with my loss
so far.

75 lbs is the average, so you are a little above it. Congrats.

I think that is very normal. Everyone is different with their weight loss.
Some lose more than others, some lose less. I am so thankful to have lost
91 pounds in 6 months. Congrats to you on your weight loss!! Keep up the
fabulous work!! Hugs, Terri

I tried to find your starting weight on your profile and found every little
measurement of every body part except your starting weight! LOL! However,
78 in 6 months is very good. I think I was at 72 at 6 months. With that
said, there is no normal. Everyone loses weight differently at at
different rates, so try not to get into a comparison with others. There
will always be someone who lost 100 pounds in 2 months and someone else who
took a whole year to lose 50 pounds...the important thing is to follow your
pouch rules religiously and stick to the program. Maximize your window of
opportunity!
