Question:
Has this happened to anyone else? butt deflated
I am just over 5 months post op down -84lbs. I always had a bubble butt and since surgery it is like someone took a pin and popped it. I am not happy with it right now. Will exercise help this? I eat 98% protein and work out a Curves 3 days a week. Merry Christmas everyone!! Laura. — laurab (posted on December 22, 2003)

The question is: has this NOT happened to anyone. Butt-be-back occurs
naturally (not 100% of it) at about 3 yrs post-op. If you are working it,
then as you finish losing stabilize and bounceback, you should get a pretty
nice bottom. Don't know your age, so it might not be exactly where you'd
like it! But it does round out again.

i have just ordered me a lightly padded pair of underwear from JC penny. I
am afflicted with "crack in my back" Thats the way my butt looks
after losing 95 pounds. This underwear was recommended to me by another
member here a OH.

I used to have a HUGE butt but lost it after losing weight. Start walking
A LOT!! It will make it appear larger and more firm. I get a lot of
compliments from men about what a nice butt I now have. Walking is the
reason for that!!

Yes my BFA has deflated and looks like a sagging hot air balloon, but worse
yet, so have my boobs. They look like bananna's when I lean over in the
shower, long thin pointy things. Thank goodness for padded bras and panty
girdles. And plastic surgery.

Don't worry. After you have been out 12- 18 months and you have maintained
your goal weight for a while it will all redistrbute itself. I have noticed
that while I have a tiny hiney now it has perked back up a bit. The radip
weight loss can make for some funky shapes along the way but I notice that
as I wait it out I have more of a figure than ever. Slim but everything in
the right place.

I am so glad this was brought up because I was sadly noticing my behind
yesterday. Used to be round but now it couldn't get any flatter.

My butt was flat as a pancake, so I brought an exercise program for it and
worked it a good two months. Didn't do much good, but now I've noticed
that the little weight I have regained has gone to my behind (I'm almost
two years post op). I actually have a pretty nice shape now (because of
that and my implants). I had a butt lift along with a medial thigh lift,
but it really didn't do anything for my butt because it was still flat. I
think its the fat that gives you the shape, but good muscle tone will
probably help also.
