Question:
Any ideas for exercises that can be done sitting at my desk? I am often alone and
would like to know of some exercises I can do while at the office. Curves is great and I am loving my water aerobics. I just want to add more and during the work day is the only other time I have. I would love to hear some ideas for exercises I can do while seated. Thanks in advance. Ann in TX 414/296/140 — Ann B. (posted on December 4, 2003)

you could sit up straight in your chair and hold in your stomach muscles
for ten seconds and repeat for as many reps and you want. you can also to
leg lifts....and arm curls using office equipment like a stapler or a tape
despencer ect...

Some bicep curls with 2 pound weights will help you firm your arms.

I flex my leg muscles and do leg lifts under my desk. I add a small weight
to my ankle for the leg lifts. I also do "mini curls" using the
same weight on my wrist.

Check out Bodyflex (maybe bodyflex.com) or search for bodyflex on
eBay.....it's small enough to fit in a tote bag and allows for exercise in
your office, while watching TV, etc. I ordered one but haven't used it yet
because I had a tummy tuck and can just not return to full activity. Good
luck!
