I am 3yrs out so I don't know if it is the same, I had a soreness under
left breast. I also had increased hurling went to pcp, he sent me to
gastro specialist, had a scope, and she found my pouch was irritated due to
stoma being a little small, she stretched me, and put me on protonix 2x a
day. If you are 7 weeks out I wonder if you could still be healing, a good
question the next time you go to see surgeon.

I had soreness under my left breast for a while after surgery and I asked
the doctor and he said that was close to my stomach and that is why it
hurt. Who knows if he is right. I know nothing of anatomy.

I had soreness/numbness under my left breast for awhile after surgery. The
area felt hard to the touch, as well. I asked the surgeon, and he said
that what I was experiencing was normal due to the way they open you up and
clamp you open during surgery. Please consult your surgeon for his/her
opinion.

I had this due to rib spreaders they use for Open RNY--later I developed an
incisional hernia--so have them look at the site--my pain was from 4 weeks
to nine about the tenth week it just disappeared.

I had a pain in the same area since I came home from the hospital, I am now
almost 9 weeks and it seems to be almost completely gone. I was told
however that they don't use rib spreaders for WLS that is only for up
higher so who knows....My surgeon said my ribs could have cracked ot the
cartilidge might have cracked and that takes a while to heal. Whatever
caused it I am glad It is getting better!
GOOD LUCK!
