What is a stricture?

A stricture is when your stoma (the place in your stomach where they
reconnect the intestine) closes or swells so food cannot pass. It seems to
be a common complication of the surgery and is fixed by a endoscope with

You can get a stricture anywhere that there is a surgical connection.It is
basically the tissue overgrowing and narrowing or completely closing an
