Question:
What are some good exercises that can be done in the water? Especially for the butt
and legs? I am looking to get stronger and trim. I do aquatics three times a week but it is primarily stretching. I need more. Please email me if you have suggestions for exercises other than swimming laps that can be done in the pool. Thanks a bunch. There are acouple of different excersices you can do to help with firming
the fanny area. One, with your feet together, pretend that you are jumping
over a log, over the front and then again the back, and then do side to
side. The other is to take turns, first your left then your right foot and
tap the toe, you should feel this one all the way up your leg to your
fanny. The other would be to lift your straiten leg backwards, as far as
you can get it, then switch legs. Hope this helps

See about gettng a water areobics book or join a class for awhile It's a
lot of fun and you learn a lot of good things. The one that my teacher
showed us as being really good for the Butt was to do "back"
kicks while clenching your butt cheeks together. nothing high, just a
straight back motion you can either alternate sides each time or do one
side then the other, just do each side consistently.
Good Luck!
