Good news... it's for both! I am having my lasik hopefully in December.

LASIK can correct nearsightedness and farsightedness, but a lot more of the
former. Usually up to 10 units of nearsightedness and up to 4 units of
farsightedness. Also, do you require a bifocal so you can see up close?
This changes things also. I am a LASIK surgeon as well as a LASIK patient
