Question:
Does any one have any clothes that they don't want or need?
I am going through some very bad times and I am having financial hardship. I just returned back to work and I did not get paid the whole time that I was off. I exhausted my sick and annual leave and I have been through a lot since I had the surgery. If anyone has any clothes that they don't want please let me know. my email is [email protected] — Shirley M. (posted on November 10, 2003)

I am sorry that I do not have any size 13 clothes, but if you go to the
Godwill, you may be able to find some things to wear, for next to nothing
in price. Sometimes the Godwill has things marked 1/2 off, and you may
want to hit some of the yard sales in your area, sometimes if you go later
in the day, you can get items for .25 cents a piece. Also, if you have any
outlet stores, like we have a Beall's outlet and the prices are low and
then they have mark downs, the other day I got two tops for .79 cents each,
that were brand new. I know that Penneys also has a outlet store, you
might see what is in your area. Good Luck.

I also shop at Good Will. I got two nice dressy blazers the other day for
three bucks each and two sweaters for 2.50 each. Right now, while I am
still losing, that is about the only place I shop.

I replaced almost my whole wardrobe for no money at all by using
consignment/resale shops. I took in my fat clothes (which resale shops are
always happy to have) and when they sold I had enough credit to get
whatever I needed. I replaced everything but undies and shoes that way.
