Question:
Any other MO women have very small breasts?
When I was MO at my highest of 311 lbs. I barely fit into a B cup. A 40B was very hard to find. Now I am in a 34A, just wondering why if we have hardly any breast tissue in the first place, why are we still losing it? Has this shrinkage happened to anyone else who was overweight and didn't have large breasts? Hugs, Kim S. Open RNY Nov. 4, 2002 (-154) — Kim S. (posted on November 5, 2003)

I also have small breasts 40B at my highest of 257. I am 2 months post
down 40lbs and my bras are swimming on me. I hate to think what I will
have when I get to my goal weight, but I plan on buying some :) I dont
really know the answer to your question but I wanted you to know you arent
alone!!!! :)

I can relate. When I was at my highest weight (367) I was a 44B. I'm now
around 185-190, just had a tummy tuck, belt lipectomy, breast lift and
augmentation. My PS said that with just a lift I wouldn't have even been
an A - SCARY! I'm now happy with my 36D's! Well worth every cent.

Another never fill the cup person here. As a thin person I could have used
an A- cup and as a MO person I could use a B- cup. I end up using sports
bras because there are no cups. I have heard that there is someone making
the half cups now. As to why we lose it, the extra that we gained with
weight gain is fat and that fat will shrink back into small little fat
cells as we lose weight. I am almost 55 so I expect to find even less than
what I had before when I finally have my surgery and weight loss. Guess I
will be hunting for those things that you can put into your bra to fill it
out. However, I can say that if they are uncomfortable in an Arizona
summer out they come. Have I wished I was larger? Only a little bit. I
would not trade places with somone who is over-endowed as I understand that
is rather painful.

ME, ME!!!! I fit the category. Truthfully I am a B-cup but most of my
life had to wear a C because it's basically impossible to fine a 50-54B.
Now that I'm losing weight I still am wearing a C-cup but it's definitely
not a proper fit and folds up at the band. As soon as I get to around a
38-40 then I should be able to find a B, which I suspect is correct for me.
I've lost some size but not tons. What we do lose is fat, pure and
simple. I was always told that I had very fatty breasts and it's just
another area I'm losing it. Personally it doesn't bother me as I buy a
good, slightly softly padded, supportive bra and it works for me. God just
never felt I need more I guess. Since I'm not real big into implants I
suspect I will live with what I have, unless they totally disappear in the
last 53 lbs I need to lose. At least they haven't shrunk as much as my
gut, because if they had I've have craters in my chest. LOL Open RNY

I have never been big, like the others I wore a C cup before. I am now a
36B and I mean Barely there. The best thing I have found is a bra with a
gel cup from Victoria Secrets. You may have to get a cup size larger than a
normal bra, I get a 36C. It dosen't push them up in your face like most
padded bra's. It is very comfortable and nicely rounded like the real
things, I call it my $36 boob job.

"Craters in my chest," Chris D.? Houston, Tranquility Base
checking in here! I was a B before I got M.O., went up to a C because the
extra hadda go somewhere, and I *know* the plastics dude is gonna tell me
I'll be an A- after a breast lift. :-( On the other hand, my sister had to
have a breast reduction, when she wasn't even M.O., and thinks I'm the one
who got lucky being flatter. I can't imagine feeling that way. I guess
the cup always looks better (if not fuller) on the "other side."

I have 2 words for you. Push-up Bra. I have to wear them now if I want any
boobs. I was a 44B and now I am a 36A and I was never this small even as a
thin teenager. There is a lot of fat in our breast tissue and I guess with
the very fast weight loss it goes from there too. I wonder if it will
bounce back again in a few months. I hope so. I am having a tummy tuck soon
and I think that my husband may be conspiring with the PS to throw in some
boobs. MEN you gotta love em. They do have their priorities straight.

I went from a 38B to a 34 Long!! LOL! Well, actually I am barely an A cup.
I don't fill the cup out at all. I use a padded bra and that helps a lot,
although there is definite separation/spacing between the cup and my skin!
I have absolutely NO breast tissue left. I may try that gel bra from
Victoria's secrets. When I was fat and losing weight, I said that I really
didn't care what I looked like post op, I wouldn't have plastic surgery. I
really felt like I had survived a risky procedure and didn't want to chance
another one in order to "look" better. So, I accept that I am
going to be this way and try to look great IN clothes. Really, my husband
is the only one to see me nude, and he doesn't seem to mind my lack of
breast tissue. I like the 36$ no risk boob job approach! Good luck! Shelley

Oh, defintely me! For some reason, my chest is always the last thing to
gain inches when I put on weight, and always the first to lose inches when
I lose weight! At my thinnest in high school, I was a 36
"barely-B". I'm already saggy in my C-cup bras at 6 weeks out.
Not sure why it happens, but I guess it's normal. Oh well - at least it's
comin' off! Personally, I'll take the flat chest if I don't have to shop
at plus-size shops anymore! :-) Congrats on your loss, Kim!
