Check the library for resources for the restaurant card. I think you might find that most postops don't use them, as restaurants do not have to honor them. I didn't have to pay more because I ate more before surgery, so I don't think I deserve any special treatment now. I opt for a cup of soup and and appetizer, share an entree and take home leftovers.
