Question:
WLS-knowledgeable GP in Dallas?
I'm looking for a WLS-knowledgeable doctor in Dallas. I'm about 2 yrs. post-op and doing fine, but I've relocated to Dallas from Seattle and need a primary care provider who knows about the special needs of somebody who's had this surgery. I don't have a car, so I'd prefer somebody in the Oak Lawn/Uptown area or reasonably close thereto. Thanks! — Roxanne M. (posted on October 29, 2003)

Roxanne,
I live in Dallas and I use Dr. William Reardon. I didn't start with Dr.
Reardon til after my RNY but I've been very pleased with him and he works
with my WLS surgeon on my lab tests, etc. He is located in the
Presbyterian Professional Buildings on Walnut Hill which is easily
accessible by DART light rail. There is a rail station right at the
hospital - you could probably make an easy connection at City Place.

Hi,
I have the perfect pcp for you. Her name is Dr Julia Graves. She has been
my doctor for several years. She is located in the OakLawn area at 2731
Lemmon. Her phone number is (214) 219-6655. I have never had a smarter or
more compassionate doctor in my life (other than my wls surgeon). Dr
Graves has been awesome with me and monitoring my follow up. You can get
to her on DART. Feel free to email me if you wish. I live and work in the
area. If I can ever help with a ride or anything, just ask.
