Question:
Anyone have ideas for WLS scrapbooks? I am looking to start a WLS Journey book but
need some ideas for page layouts. I have never done one before but somehow since this is the most important journey of my life...it seems fitting to make one. I am open to any ideas or if anyone wants to email me or send pictures of theirs. If there are scrapbookers in Dallas (Highland Park/OakLawn area), I would love to get together with you. Hope everyone is doing well. Ann in TX, 7mths, -105, 189 to go — Ann B. (posted on October 12, 2003)

I am a year postop this week and on the morning of surgery and every month
since, I have taken my measurements and a front view and side view photo. I
also took a picture of my feet on the scale the day I weighed less than 200
pounds. I kept a before wish list (roller coaster rides, etc.) and a
journal entry fully describing why I chose surgery. I also include in there
other journal entries about events that really made me feel good (buying
something from Victoria's Secret, fitting into a booth, exercising for 30
minutes straight). Each month you might want to also include in there a
sample of what you eat each day. Have fun!

This may give you some ideas. It is a journal that can be printed, a lot
of pages, but I printed it and have been using it.

I am doing a scrapbook too that is much the same as what Yolanda described.
I use all the Creative Memories products and I really like them. If you
are interested in using their method, etc., you can go to their website and
key in your zip code for a list of consultants in your area. Good luck!

I'm doing several scrapbook layouts of my journey post-op and it's really
good for me to look over regularly to remember where I started and why I
did this. I'm a Leaving Prints Independent Instructor and would be happy
to send you information - lots of cutting-edge products, great looks, and
easy pages. Good luck & have fun scrapping!
