Margie, I felt the same way last week. I will be 4 wks out on Tue's. I
have only lost 21lbs and I think it just takes time for our bodies to
adjust and then the weight will start to come off again. My husband hid my
scales about 3days ago and I no longer worry about my weightloss. He and I
both know it'll come off and I don't need to be weighing myself everyday.
So be proud of the 26lbs that you have lost, that is great! And I am sure
your weighloss will continue, just give your body a little time to adjust..
GOOD LUCK.....TAKE CARE!

OMG...To "only" have lost 26lbs. in four weeks...when could you
have possibly ever done this pre-WLS? This is rapid...don't get too used
to it (or be too disappointed), 'cause the minute you hit a plateu, you
will really be traumatized. Good luck and huggs...

PUT AWAY YOUR SCALE LIKE IT DID - I put it out in my storage shed, locked.
I have to go out to the garage to get the key then go outside to the shed.
I do not have any access from my house into my garage, no service door so
it makes it difficult to get the scale. Anyways, prior to your surgery how
many times did you loose 26# or more in 4 weeks. You have done great. Your
body is stabilizing itself and readjusting its metabolism. Just give your
body a chance to catch up with itself.

I really don't understand the problem. Your profile says you've lost 26
pounds in three weeks! That's excellent. I'm not sure what you expected
to lose, but I think your expectations were unrealistic. I lost 26 pounds
in my first MONTH and I've lost a total of 165 in a year and 8 days. Trust
me, you have absolutely nothing to worry about re your weight loss, and
you're doing just fine!

At about 4 weeks out I hit a plateau for about 2 weeks. I was lossin g
about 1 or 2 pounds a week, when prior to that it was 1-2 lbs per day. I
think we get so excited when we see how much we are losing that we get
worried when it slows for a period of time. I thought, I went through all
this to lose 20 pounds". don't worry, I started losing again, and as
soon as I encorporated excercise into my daily activity I lost even more.
I am 3 months out and down 70 pounds. Just be patient...the surgery works
regardless of ourselves!

Do you mean "why I am not seeing the loss?"
