Question:
Has anyone had liver nodules?

For my preop testing, I had an abdominal ultrasound. My gallbladder was great, but they found nodules on my liver. Now I have to have a CAT scan this week. Has anyone had liver nodules? How concerned should I be about these? Thanks!    — Maria M. (posted on September 26, 2003)

they didnt find mine till surgery took some off and biopsed them not cansours caused by fatty liver in my case 2 years later still no problems good luck ted

Did they say what they think the "nodules" are? It could be simply fatty infiltration, or maybe something else innocent - and of course it could be bad news too. Usually they will give you a list of possibilities, but don't give you too much info until the tests are done. Try not to worry - it won't make them disappear.
