Question:
I was wondering if any of you had heard or had any type of scar revision?

I'm sure you can have a PS redo the scar in the future if it's intolerable.
May be hardly noticeable. I would not sweat it now. Not worth the energy
in my opinion.

Everything in life is relative. To me, I don't mind my scar - heck it's not
like I don't have lot's of little scars on my stomach anyway (stretch
marks). My open RNY scar is about 5 inches long and 1/4 inch wide. Its
faded quite nicely over the last 14 months. It will always be pinkish, just
because of my skin tone. Unless the surgeon just mangles it, I wouldn't
worry to much. Once the weight starts coming off, you won't care that you
have a scar, you'll be happy that you are improving your health and
appearance.

Hi, the answer is definitely yes! Ask your surgeon for a referral to a
plastic surgeon who uses laser for resurfacing: that way you can get an
opinion on whether laser will be enough or whether incision surgery would
be better. Also, insurance will usually cover if scars result from earlier
surgery. Good luck!
