Question:
How were your cycles post-op compared to pre-op?

I am 10 months post op and have lost 136 lbs to date. My weight seems to now be stabilizing. I have stopped taking Depo provea (last shot should have been May)in an effort to begin charting my ovulation cycles to plan for starting a family. (This was one of my main reasons for surgery- my surgeon says it's OK to start 'trying' at one year out)I was regular before surgery- just no luck with conception. Now, I have no periods at all. So- here's my question- how long after taking depo did you get your period back? AND, have any of you wound up having issues with regularity AFTER surgery, when you had been regular before? Just want to get a concensus here, and see if anyone has thoughts. I have an appointment to see a fertility specialist and am under the care of an OBGYN too, but I feel this sense of urgency (and a little desperation too) that no one but me seems to get!
