Gallbladder
Is gallbladder disease considered a co-morbity — NJChick (posted on August 25, 2003)

I don't know for sure but i don't think so. The way my surgeon explained
co-morbid to me was Morbid means deadly. A co-morb is something that is
life threatening not just something that makes you sick.

Hi...I'm not sure if it is a co-morbity either but my surgeon said it
should make the insurance company approve you much faster. Since they have
to cover the gall bladder surgery if they deny you then you could self pay
and you would only have to pay the surgeon. They would already be paying
for everything else because of the gall bladder surgery.
