Give it time! My doc told me the fatigue would last approx 2 months . . .
right now I'm almost 3 months and I've never ever felt better.

It took me 8 weeks to feel human again, and then move over I was on the run
and have never felt better in my life.

Hi, it took me three months to feel "human" again. The book the
nutrionist gives you says you'll have good days and bad days. Boy was she
right.Good news is the bad days become less frequent. You will have energy
and feel wonderful again. The rapid weight loss will make you feel like
crap, it's only temporary.Good luck.

My energy also did not return until three-four months post op and like the
others, I feel great now. Even helped my hubby cut a tree down and haul it
off today. Couldn't have done that last year.

Hi there! I remember wondering that as well. I could tell a huge
difference when I started to eat pureed foods, and then it just increased
as I ate more solids. I am almost 7 weeks out and have felt back to normal
since week 4 if my memory serves me correctly. Just relax and know it will
come, your body needs the rest to recoop. Plus, think of how little food
your'e getting. It really does a number on our bodies. Plus all the
anesthesia you still have in your body will also make you feel that way.
Good Luck, be patient, it will come back.
