Question:
Anyone heard of/used EAS's CLA 90 capsules??
Hi guys! I was looking on EAS's website at their protein drinks and saw an add for CLA 90 supplements. CLA stands for Conjugated Linoleic Acid and is a naturally occurring nutrient which is supposed to help with fat loss and building lean muscle mass. The ingredients don't list anything unpronouncable. In the recommended 2 capsules/1-2x daily there are 19 cal/19 cal from fat/2g total fat/<.5g Sat fat/320mg Monounsat fat/1.5g polyunsat fat/1.5g CLA. Inactive ingredients are gelatin, water and glycerin. Has anyone heard of these and/or taken them? I have just started working out with weights, and while I don't have goals to be a bodybuilder, the less I have to worry about skin sagginess, the better, and if my muscles fit better, then my skin should too, right? I am almost 6 mos p/o, down 88 pounds. Thanks in advance for answering. Nikki — Nicole L. (posted on August 18, 2003)

Hey Nikki, I am glad you are asking this question. I was wondering the
same thing myself. I have a bunch of CLA that is left over from when I did
the 'Body for Life Challenge' last year. It was highly recommended for
that particular program....especially by and for women. I hope somebody
can answer!!! Michelle :)

Original poster here....I talked to my primary dr today, and he said that
they were ok for me to take. So, now my next step is to buy some and see
how well they work!!!!
