Question:
i believe that these are gas pains

hi, i am a little over 6 months post op from open rny and havent had alot of complications, yesterday i woke up with these awful gas pains in my entire lower belly and they havew continued til now, i have drank a few glasses of prune juice and taken some metamucil, yesterday morning i had 2 small very hard BM's and the pain continues, its so bad sometimes i feel nauseous im also having tons of gas but with no relief, does anyone know what might be goin on ? thanks    — christine S. You could be right. However, just to be sure, PLEASE call your doctor's office - even though it's the weekend. Leave a message for a call back. Don't feel at all bad doing that. It may be something that will just "pass" (no pun intended), but why take a chance? Best to you!
