Question:
FAT HEAD????
I was wondering: when we lose our weight, do our heads shrink? I ask this because my head has grown in direct relation to my body-as I gained weight, my head got bigger. Not just my face or whatever, although that got bigger, too. My actual HEAD. It got bigger! I used to love to wear beanies and bucket hats and stuff, but stopped when I began straining the threads that held the hats together. I would like to wear them again someday. So, as weird or trivial as this question may seem, will I once again be able to don my cute hats? Or once a head gets fatter, does it never revert back to its original/normal size...thanks for your insight! — jenn_jenn (posted on August 14, 2003)

Your skull is like any other bone and your fat around it goes up when your
body weight goes up. Yes, it will go down. I've went down at least a full
hat size.

Thank God! My big o' head scares my ex-girlfriends. They all said they
wanted to adopt rather than push out a baby with big head. :)
