I just tried Isopure and absolutely love it!!! It's the only protein drink I can get down, I suppose because it's a juice and not your average protein drink. I just want to make sure it's good for us. Anyone know for sure? — Cindi S. (posted on August 11, 2003)

Yes, lots of people use IsoPur. I personally can't stand it, but many just

My surgeon recommends it. After a few patients tried it and liked it he now
buys it wholesale for us so we can get it at a discount.

Just don't make the same mistake I just made!! Apparently, there are 2
Isopure's that look exactly the same. One is Zero Carbs and the other has
a whopping 25 grams!!! I accidently bought the wrong ones, not knowing
there were 2. I had already drank one, yesterday, and 3/4 of the way
through another one today when I noticed that. Imagine my shock!!! What
really irked me is that I've been trying really hard to increase my loss by
no carbs and lots of protein and water. What a disappointment!!!

I drank a lot of Isopure Zero Carb early on, but then when my taste buds
changed, I couldn't stomach the stuff. Then at about 7 months out, I found
that I could tolerate it again-- now, it is a staple. It seems to work--
provides great protein and it's hydrating.

I use it and My Protein is GREAT, we have had patients through my Doc have
problems then with Isopure regain protein to normal in 1 month SO GO FOR
IT!!!! I do know How you had your surgery makes a difference too, Proximal
(which is the normal) or Distal????
