there really isn't anything in the tricare manual about this, but they do pay for reconstructive surgery if it is needed. eventhou you aren't ready for the tt yet,make sure every single rash, back ache, boils ect.. is reported to your doctor so it will be in your medical records as a history. take pictures of rashs anytime you get them(you must take an up close pic and a full body pic) and when you go back to the doctor give it to them. unless your loose skin will hang past your privates you will need other medically nessacary issues. make sure you report all of these everytime they come up to your pcp and your wls doctor. good luck

I am approved by Tricare for my TT and am scheduled for surgery on Dec. 6th. Tricare paid for my WLS that I had done in Germany in Nov. of '02.
