Question:
Once again...question re: Protein Pudding
About a year ago someone posted a website that sold protein pudding. Having just had a large portion of my intestines removed (not due to WLS) I am finding difficulty digesting and my hair is falling out. I really hate the protein powders and the bars are too sweet. I need something a little extra to supplement my diet. If anyone knows that website addy, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks! — purdue_1993 (posted on August 3, 2003)

Lindora (a high protein low carb abd low fat doctor supervised weight loss
sytem) sells a variety of protein products under their own label.
Their chocolate and vanila shakes can be made into pudding by adding less
liquid. It has 15 g of protein for 70 calories. Will that work? Their
chicken noodle soup and creamy hot coca are also good tasting for 70
calories each.(www.Lindora.com)

I don't know about protein pudding... this is something I make.. that might
work..
1.5 cups no fat cottage cheese
1 cup skim milk
1.5 packages of SF pudding (I use white chocolate)

if you want to cottage cheese smooth, you can do that.. if you want to add
splenda or flavorings you could.. I mix it all together with a hand blender
and then make about 6 servings out of it. I'd put some protein powder in
it when I take it out to eat if I need to... Good luck

I agree with Margaret on the Lindora products, I have tried almost all of
their products.....and love them. They taste very good. I have purchased
several boxes for after surgery (I have 19 days to go) The price is not to
bad either!!!!! Good luck!!!

I add vanilla protein powder to any flavor sf pudding mix when I make it,
it actually adds a nice flavor. It's the only way I've ever been able to
tolerate protein powders.

You can purchase an unflavored protein powder from www.unjury.com. All of
their products are good and the price is pretty good. Good Luck!

I simply made Jello Sugar-free pudding according to the directions and
added protein powder. For the chocolate puddings, I added Atkins Chocolate
Protein shake powder. For the butterscotch or vanilla flavors, I added the
flavorless Shaklee protein powder. All turned out great. Hope this helps!
