Question:
How bad are things after drinking Fleet Phospho soda? Taking it x 2.

Yikes, I wish I could tell you it was nothing, but Fleets knocked my socks off! It tastes awful and it really gets your system moving! Let everyone know the bathroom is yours for the evening! I would take it early in the evening unless you want to be up all night. And be sure to drink LOTS of water right up to the last minute because it really dehydrates you. You might find that using wipes is gentler on your bottom which can get quite sore. Just know that others have been there before you and 'this too shall pass' (literally!) Good luck with surgery! My experience with it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.I ate very light for the few days leading up to it.

I've got a better name for that stuff... "TURBO-LAX"! OMG, I thought my insides were gonna come out! Get yourself some diaper rash cream on your bottom, you will be glad you did. It will help with the "raw" feeling you will have after trotting to the potty all day. Have fun!

For me, it took about 30 mins to an hour before it started working its magic. My bottom did get sore from going so much, I think that was the worst part. It does slow down but dont be fooled into getting to far from the bathroom. All in all, I have been through much worse such as the constipation I get now. ~Sidney~ Open RNY 10-23-02 down 100+ and counting

It took 2.5 hours to work on me. Have a Sugar Free Jello pop ready after you drink it. The taste is absolutely awful!!! I had a hard time keeping it down. It's like liquid salt :-) The things we do to be thin...

I had to take it twice a day, 3 hrs. apart for the 2 days before surgery. I divided it into 2 cups, held my nose, and chased it immediately with Gatorade. This worked fine and started having to go to the bathroom in 20-30 minutes. Diarrhea for several hours then it slowed down. I also rented several movies and watched them to help the time pass by.
