Question:
Where can I find a graph to figure out what my goal should be?
You used to see them everywhere but now that I am looking I can't seem to find one. Maybe they aren't PC anymore... I am a 5'4" female who assumes she is a medium frame... What should be my goal??? My second Sergeon's apointment is comeing up and one of the questions he has on the list as long as my arm is what is my goal? HELP! Thanks! Colette G — colette73 (posted on June 28, 2003)

This site has a "weight loss planner" that suggests a goal
weight, at <A

You can also join fitday.com, and under their "weight" section,
they have a graph that shows ranges of ideal weights for your height (it's
a pretty broad range). But I think it's hard to set a goal until you get
close to it, meaning you want a weight that you feel looks good (which may
be higher than the charts suggest), and one which you can maintain without
being miserable. Maybe you could set a relatively high goal (even if it's
out of the insurance company range), and then when you reach that, decide
if you want to set another, lower one at that time. Good luck!

If you are looking for the Metropolitian weight table that some doctors and
most insurances use it can be found at the following web site:

& now at 6 months 185. Good luck!
