How often are you eating? Sounds like you MAY be goig too long between
meals and you're having a hypoglycemic reaction to foods. If that's the
case, try eating at regular intervals of no more than 3 hours (even 2
ounces of nuts for example) and see if that helps. Hope it gets better
soon!

What are you eating? Sounds like it could be dumping. I have found that I
can no longer eat peanut butter (one of my favorites before surgery) the
fat in it causes the same sytoms as you are describing. Sugar is not the
only culprit.

Check your sugar intake and make sure you're not dehydrated.

Thanks guys for your input, but it doesn't make a difference what I eat and
I already learned my lesson as far as sugars and fats go :)

That is the perfect example of dumping... at least it is what happens to
me! You may be waiting too long between meals or eating some things with
hidden sugars or too high in carbs for your body. I can't eat 2 oz. of
nuts at one time... it is too much for me. I DO eat something every hour to
keep from getting these sweats. I only eat like one boiled egg, an oz. of
grilled chicken, a small handfull of nuts... something protien. Also, I
wait 30 minutes after I eat, and drink like crazy. You can be dehydrating
too quickly. I literally drink about four GALLONS of liquid each day.
That's water, milk, crystal light, cocoa (I make my own... want the
recipe?), hot cider (in SMALL amounts!), anything sugar free or at least
two or fewer grams of sugar, and tons and tons of milk. Good luck! See my
profile for food and recipe ideas!

melissa i couldnt believe my eyes when i read your question. i had to read
it twice! i am 18 mos post op & i am having the same exact problem! it
doesnt matter what i eat, i feel the flush starting at the top of my head
& work its way down to my toes. this is followed by such intense
sweating that my hair becomes damp & my scalp is actually so wet that
it is almost like i washed my hair & towel dried it. i will be 52 next
week & am experiencing my changes so i thought it was from that, but,
after reading your question i have to think its not. ANYBODY ELSE OUT THERE
EXPERIENCING THIS? i would like to know if this is a common occurence &
what can be done about it.
