Question:
11 Months Out-Is this a plateau or am I done?
I am 11 months post-op and I started at 315 and now am at 211. I have never not lost anything before but this month not even a pound. Is this a plateau or am I done losing? I'm very grateful for the loss but I would have liked to be under 200 lbs. I get plenty of fluids, protein and I exercise at Curves 3-5 times a week and walk 1 1/2 - 2 miles in between. Any helpful hints would be appreciated. — Sheryann Z. (posted on June 17, 2003)

It sounds like you are doing everything right. I bet you are not done
losing. I am 12 months out and my weight loss has slowed way down. I wont
lose for 3-4 weeks and then I drop three to five pounds over the course of
a week. Keep up the good work!

happened to me at 9 months and the best advice I got was to shake up my
routine a bit. Alter your eating for a week - add a few more fats or
reduce/add carbs to your diet. Just something diferent and this is only
for a WEEK! Adjust the type of exercise your doing. Just kind of confuse
the mix so to speak. Sometimes this will kick-start it again. Worked for
me - may not for you, but even if you don't change anything odds are it
WILL get going again. Good luck!
