Question:
Cigna POS in Illinois... anyone applied for approval with them lately?

I would like to know your circumstances(ht,wt,BMI & comorbities and your experience with them. I am going through BTC and from what I understand they are good at getting approval but is that also with Cigna?    — Sherri M. (posted on May 16, 2003)

Cigna POS NJ just approved me this week. My BMI is 45.5, I'm 5' tall, 238 pounds. No major co morbidities, just the usual pain in the hind end ones, stress incontinence, fatigue, joint pain . . . Linda B.

both my husband and I were approved by cigna pos for our surgery. you can see my profile for my stats. My husband has around a 55+bmi and takes bp meds and only has one other co-morbide and that is bad knees joints. I went thru The Wish Center and am 9 days po. My husband with have his surgery sometime this summer with another group of doctors that are associated with Weight For Life. We were approved in about 2 wks total each with cigna pos. I have another primary ins which is BCBS of IL PPO. Hope this helps
