Question:
Question for Dr. Elariny pre-ops with surgery dates...

Ok I have read about how some of us would like earlier surgery dates and I thought I would try something different and not bore everyone with my complaints (not saying that about others!!!!) So with that in mind and a quirky sense of humor and an adventureous spirit...would anyone like to trade surgery dates? I have a date of Sept 18 and would like to get it done earlier for business and personal reasons and if Dr. E ok's it would like to "trade" for an earlier date. Perhaps someone out there needs to postpone. I don't know if this is allowed - just thought I would ask and maybe give someone a good laugh at my silly attempts. Cindye, just a suggestion. If you want to have an earlier date, have you tried another surgeon in your area. I know you are in the DC/Northern VA area and we are soooo fortunate to have many good qualified surgeons in our area. My surgeon, who is in Alexandria, is booked thru June/July, but that is 2 months sooner than yours..just a thought...

Hi Cindy. Thanks for the post. I was told that by the time I get my insurance changed to a new surgeon and everything that it would still be around Sept before I could get the surgery. Oh well.....all I can do is try :o)
