Question:
Going to Vegas, has anyone used a reduced price restarurant card at buffets there?

I am a little over 3 months post op and in August I will be going to Vegas. Has anyone tried to use (if they have one) their card for reduced rates at any of the nice buffets? I don't usually go to buffets, but we are going with another couple and they and my husband want to eat at the Bellagio buffet. Since this is a really expensive buffet, I don't really feel like paying full price to eat only a few bites of food. But I don't want them to feel like they can't go there because of me. I'll pay full price if I have to, but was just wondering if anyone had ever been able to use their card in Vegas? I don't even know if I can get a card, at this point. I beleive it was the stratesphere that gave me a discount (childs cost) but most buffets wont honor the card so many people could use that to get discounts but there are a few good places that will just ask and the worst that can happen is they will say no...i usually go to restruants and split a meal with someone, boy do i miss those buffets lol...hope you have fun while your here...

I went in March, and not one place allowed me to use my card. I asked at the Tropicana, Paris, Palms, and Bellagio. :( Oh well, we sat there long enough and I got to taste a few things.

another las vegan here. i asked for the child's price at the aladdin buffet. i showed her my card and she gave it to me for free. it is a delicious buffet too. i tried this at the suncoast and they said no. we wont be eating at the buffet again but their restaraunt Primo's is terrific and one meal feeds one post op and one big eater easily. get in touch with me and you can eat at my house:) patsy in las vegas

I went to vegas 5/1/03 and I had no problem getting my card through I ate childs meals and when we went to the MGM grand they were soo nice I paid a childs price with my card, although it wasnt a great deal it was nice the let me use it, also we found a great morning buffett for 6$ at the Westward ho at the end of the strip and it had eggs cooked to your liking and lots of fruit choices, and all the walking we did, I still lost weight!:) Im 31/2 month po and down 76 pounds, good luck and have a great time!
