Question:
Can certain sex acts cause dumping?
I know this is a delicate subject. But, I'm sure others are wondering the same thing. Hubby is kind of wondering.. lol. Has anyone had a bad reaction to.. uhm.. finishing oral sex?? How long after surgery can we continue? Sorry if anyone is offended, but it is a small concern. (may15th,2003) — KellyJeanB (posted on May 7, 2003)

I did a little searching on the web about the nutritional breakdown of
ejaculate - beware - lots of stuff I did NOT want to see was there, but one
site on sex education stated "It is mostly water, a simple sugar to
keep the sperm alive, and, as you know, protein." I saw another site
that said something about it having 5 calories, but I think sugar is the
potential problem here.

What is it they say.. its only about 2 tablespoons anyway. You shouldn't
have any problems. :)

Actually Carnie Wilson asked her surgeon that very question right before
surgery and he told her that it is fine. ;)

I don't mean to scare anyone, but my friend (whos an M.D.)says that
ejaculate is actually harmful to swallow (and I don't mean only for post-op
patients...for everyone!!). Do it, but don't swallow. It doesn't take away
from his pleasure anyhow.

Laura, you try telling men that ejaculate is harmful to swallow! I'll let
you start out with my husband! LOL I too have been doing it for years and
still live to tell about it (which maybe isn't something I should be
bragging about?!) Cheers, ladies! ;)

I'm so grateful I read this! You know...I've been doing it for many years,
but now that protein is such an integral part of my life, it sure helps to
know that I'm getting a little extra protein in for all my
"extra" efforts! ;)

I have been super careful to not have anything I knew would probably lead
to my dumping (i.e. desserts, pasta). I can honestly say I would take the
risk if anyone knew for certain that "completing" oral sex could
lead to my dumping. Giving pleasure to the person who loves me
unconditionally and fell in love with me when I weighed 414 lbs is
something I freely choose to give. We are fluid-bonded and love each other
dearly. Stay safe and have fun. (Ann in TX)

This is too funny!! I was just in the nutritionists office a few months ago
and I was reading a magazine in the waiting room. There was an article on
this subject and it said that 2 tablespoons of sperm has the nutritional
value of 3 steaks, 10 eggs, 6 oranges and 6 lemons. Thats A LOT of protein.
So u can get your protein there if from no where else. lolol. :0) But I
dont this it will hurt you a bit.

Yup, its me again ;o)
And i'm sorry if i upset all u loyal wives out there, but hey, i enjoy
pleasuring my husband too....I JUST DON'T SWALLOW. And when i asked my
doctor friend what made it harmful to swallow, this is what she said (i'm
paraphrasing): Many religions forbid swallowing the semen b/c it contains
genetic material (half of all the chromosomes a baby was gonna get is in
the sperm heads!!) So some researchers wanted to study why those religions
didn't permit swallowing the semen. They now think that *maybe* the genes
lead to some kind of neoplasms in the long rung. Possibly in the lower
GIT.
Again, i don't know if its true but my motto is BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY. And
as long as the Mr. gets his pleasure, he doesn't really care where the
final DESTINATION of those little guys is.
If u choose not to belive it, simply ignore everything i said. I'm not 100%
sure myself either. And i love all u gals out there, but plz stop doggin'
me. (*wink-wink*) ;o)

Hey Folks I've been following this thread, while it has been very amusing,I
just wanted to clear up some misinformation. There is nothing harmful in in
jesting semen! As far as "genetic material" goes the is genetic
material in everything you eat in every cell of corn onions bef chicken
fish fruits-everthing that has ever been alive! So, if you so choose
swallow away!

This question has been asked many times before and can be found in the AMOS
library. As for my two cents: no freakin' way...not as long as the term
"C%*&ksucker" remains a derogatory word. It is just another
act of subjugation that feeds the patriarchal dominance. <Fist
raised>

Oy!~ So would r*gm*ncher be a gerogatory term of matriarcal subjication? To
each their own!

This does sound a bit like a tempest in a teapot. I agree with the person
who said it's been done by thousands of people for years with no known ill
effects. I'd say to each her own and don't worry about what other people
are doing.I'm sure there are other intimate acts that could be more harmful
to post-ops than this one. And the extra protein doesn't hurt. And Laura,
one Doctor isn't always right...why haven't we heard this from other
Doctors? If was really bad, it would have been all over the medical arena.
I'd certainly rather risk this activity than say something else really
known to be harmful, like smoking! Enjoy!!

The only way that might happen is if you're wearing edible panties!! Maybe
one day they'll make a sugar-free brand! In the meanwhile, enjoy
yourselves! Loving is part of living!

Thanks for asking this question. I have been wondering myself. Didn't
know who or how to ask.
