Question:
3 Months Post-Op Low Red Blood Cells, Low White Blood Cells Anyone Else?

Hi y'all... Just got my first set of labs back... everything was great, all my #s fell in the normal ranges EXCEPT Red Blood Cells and White Blood Cells (RBC, WBC).. they were pretty low... my endocrinologist said not to worry because as we heal this peaks and dips but she wants me to get this checked again in two weeks... anyone else have this problem? Hi, I'm 11 mos. out LAP RNY and my 3 mos. labs came back that I had Low White Blood cell count. I retook the test at 6 mos. and they where worse. My PCP really could'nt explain why. I posted the question here and didn't get any results, and don't look on-line for any answers because it will convince you that you have something terrible........lol......I've talked to a few other Gastric Patients since then and it seems it's just one of those flukes of the surgery. My 9 mos. labs where Perfect! So, I would'nt worry too much, I sure it will all be fine in a few monthes.
