Question:
Can any one tell me of their experience with Dr Rambaut.

after being denied by bcbs due to an exclusion it looks like if i want this surgery ill be a say payer and the US doctors prices are to high for me so im looking in to doctors in mx ive done a little research but if anyone can share their story i would apprepiate it. im also looking into Dr. Aguirre in MX.    — marcelle1070 (posted on April 21, 2003)

Hi Rhonda~ Please read my profile about my trip to Ensenada,Mexico to have Open-Rny with Dr.Aguirre. I think he is the *GREATEST* I loved him. If I had insurance or $100,000.00 I would still go back and use him knowing what I know now. My *TOTAL COST* was $6,500.00 plus airfare and hotel stay. I feel Wonderful and couldn't ask for anything more. PERFECT! I had my surgery on 3-27-03 and as of 4 days ago I have lost 27lbs. I have not weighed since that time. I have never been sick! I also was able to start the soft food diet the 2nd day after being released from the hospital. Good Luck!

Check in the library. There are a few people on here who have used him. I know I spent many emails talking with one lady in particular about her experiences with using him and in general having surgery in Mexico. She was wonderfully open and helpful. I can't recall her name or email, but its the library where I found her info and contacted her from there. Good luck!!
