Question:
18 months post-op and starting to vomit after 2-3 bits!

Can you still get a stricture after this long time period, I thought I was over all the complications! I'm embarrassed to call my doctor after having surgery so long ago.    — AB B. (posted on April 21, 2003)

Don't be embarrassed, that's what you paid him/her for! I've read that you can get a stricture at anytime, but it's more common around 4 weeks. I'd call, just to be on the safe side!!!
