Question:
How many rows of staples is the norm-stretched pouched?
I just came from my 18 month checkup and my surgeon tells me he NOW uses 8 rows of staples. When I had the surgery done I had 4 rows of staples. Does this make me more prone to staple disruption? I asked him and he said it would have happened by now and that I shouldn't focus on it. But I am concerned as I am eating larger amounts. He thinks I am too thin 115 lbs from 235 lbs. He said I would know if I had a staple disruption because I would be gaining weight. But NOW I am worried. I rarely stop eating when I feel full because I still want it all. Any and all help appreciated!! Worried, Donna — Donna B. (posted on April 11, 2003)

Donna - As long as you are not gaining weight, stop worrying. 115 lbs.
WOW!! That's great. Make sure you weigh yourself at least once a week and
enjoy yourself! You rock girl!!!!
