Could be many things, from a stricture (which can be fixed) to eating to
fast, not chewing enough, etc. Your Dr will advize you on whats going! Get
there quick! God Bless.

Wendi, like the poster said before, it could be many things. You didn't say
(nor did your profile) how far along post-op you are. Many new post-ops get
nauseaus often for months, it can often take time for our bodies to adjust
to all the new changes. It could also be a stricture or an ulcer. You
really need to check with your surgeon and get it looked at so you can feel
better. Goodluck

I work with a RN who had the surgery and represents the Bariatric Program.
She had a bad stomach ache particularly every time after she ate. Come to
find out she had a perforated bowel due to a hernia and needless to say her
bowel came out of the perforation. They had to operate on her again. She
has been out of work for two weeks. I am sorry and am not trying to scare
you, but you need to see your doctor!

Wendi: I know how you feel. I am 8 months po today and I have to take
suppositories off and on for my nausea. I hate it. Sometimes food will go
down fine, other times I have to lay down and just rub my stomach. It does
go away with the help of my suppositories. Please tell your doctor. There
is medication that will help relieve this discomfort and sickness. Good
luck...
