Question:
How can I get rid of these large veins in my legs?

I was heavy and the weight I think popped the veins out in my legs. How can I get rid of them. I have lost most of my weight and I want to do something about the veins. Have surgery. My mom just had her vericose veins removed. They pull them and tighten them in her legs and then cut the excess out. I believe. Anyway, good luck! I hate mine too! Billi 8/9/02, 295/180/150

Many plastic surgeons also are able to deal with these. Some use a laser surgery which is very non-invasive. Check it out and let us know what you discover. hugs, Ann rny 9/10/99 260/124

a vascular surgeon, they specialize in veins and arteries, and many do it with small incesions, that are bairly noticable.
