Question:
I want to join the mail group for pregant post op's

I am giving up... I tried to sign up to join the lst and went throgh 30 minutes of trying to join...is there an easy way to be put on the list? Thanx for your help.    — MF (posted on March 29, 2003)

Are you talking about the Yahoo group? If so, there should be a place once you've found the group where it says 'to subscribe click here'. If you want more info on this, email me. I think I can help, but need to know what you're doing before I can.

Yahoo has several groups for pregnant/nursing mothers. I'll paste a few links in here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/OSSG-breastfeeding/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/OSSG-pregnant/ When you get there you need to "register" to get a Yahoo ID, if you've already done that then you just "sign in" and then select "Join this group". You'll register for the group and decide whether you want to receive individual emails or a digest of emails (my choice)plus a few other options. They'll send you a welcome letter with info about posting to the group. There may be more groups that are pregnancy related, I found these in the first 50 or so listings. To go through all the listings go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group and type is OSSG and it will bring up more than 200 WLS related groups. You could also type in PREGNANCY and you'd probably find hundreds of pregnancy related groups as well. I hope this helps. I had a terrible time trying to figure out Yahoo when I first tried. I still haven't successfully posted anything without going to the group and selecting "Post" even though they give you a email address you can use without going to the site everytime. Laura
