Question:
Do any companies offer *FREE* protien samples for WLS support groups?
Someone mentioned they could give free protien samples for support groups to try. Anyone know where I can get more info? I purchased samples recently, but it cost me almost $20 for 6 samples. (shipping 5-6$, minimum of 6 sample purchase, and tax) and I was happy to try them but can't afford to do it all the time. — k r. (posted on March 23, 2003)

Try www.unjury.com they offer free samples and he told me to let me know if
I need any for a support group meeting. I actually just tried my sample
this morning. It wasn't the worst protein shake I've tried but the more I
drank the sweeter it seemed to taste. Worth a try, since everyone's tastes
are different. I mixed my sample with 6 oz. skim milk and some ice. Perhaps
mixing only with water would make it slightly less sweet? Good Luck! - Anna

I guess I'm confused as to why you feel YOU need to foot the bill for
samples for your entire group? If they want to try proteins, why not have
those who can chip in to a fund to order more samples? Factor in the
shipping too! Just a thought. ~Peace
