Question:
14 weeks post op 2-3 hours after I eat, I get a twisting, nauseating pain in abdomin
What is happening to me? Whenever I eat, 2-3 hours later, this horrible feeling comes on me. Abdominal pain, nausea, heartburny air bubbles coming up. The pain is in my abdomin and radiates up the middle of my back. The nurse suggested I was constipated so I took MOM and cleaned myself out. It didn't solve it. The feeling came on me again - same thing. The urge to have a bowel movement isn't reallly there, yet I can go in little bits and pieces when I'm having an episode. I also get the dry heaves. I'm calling the doc this morning, but wanted to see what you thought or if anyone else experienced this. I'm scared! — Kim B (posted on March 21, 2003)

It sounds like you could have an ulcer. That doesn't sound like
constipation to me...I would call them back and tell them that you really
don't think you are constipated, and see if you can get in to see your
surgeon. Don't get too scared, if it is an ulcer, they are usually pretty
easily treated.

Now that I reread your question, it also sounds like it could be
gallbladder related also.

Original Poster here. It turns out that I have a fistula. My new stomach
is leaking into my old. I will most likely be having a revision.
