Question:
Anyone go to Newton-Wellesley Hospital?
I am considering switching my surgery from Brigham and Women's to Newton-Wellesley Hospital. Is anyone familiar with the surgeons, support staff and bariatric practice there? I'm interested in any information, especially in regards to post op support and surgeon reviews (I have read the ones in the database on the AMOS site, but am interested in knowing more). — Martha K. Hi Martha, I went to Newton-Wellesley hospital for my surgery. I had Dr.
Gazmuri. He and his staff are excellent. Dr. Thayer is also in the group,
and a new female doctor (Dr. Partridge maybe?). Do you go to their support
groups? They have some just for pre-ops, some for both post and pre-ops
and some for newer post-ops (less than 6 mos). I am 1 yr 2 ms out and have
lost about 90 pounds. I have not done as well as others, but I try to keep
on track. At the 1 year point you can eat a lot more than before that.
Dr. G and his staff were wonderful to me when I went for my 1 yr checkup.
Email me and I will tell you more about the hospital stay, etc.
