Question:
Has anyone who is having wls or has had wls had there tubes tied at the same time?

I am scheduled for the 31 of march and my doc has found another doc to come in and tie my tubes wile he is in there all is suppose to be done lap please let me know how your experience went with this THANKS    — Kimberly M. (posted on March 16, 2003)

I had my tubes tied at the same time by the same surgeon--had to go to open RNY from the lap. He said it was too much manipulation of instruments in different parts of the body to do otherwise. Fine w/ me -- I just didn't want general anesthesia twice.
